Hunger Games Film Techniques Louis

The filmmakers of the movie “ The Hunger Games” used many different techniques to provide and create many different emotions to the audience, such as sound effects, camera angles, musics and colors. The use of these techniques touch and provide varieties of perspective to different scenes and characters. You might be wondering about the use of camera angles and how might it will affect the emotions from the film. Well, they are really useful to create scary, nervous, exciting, shock and many more emotions. Different camera angles can be spotted throughout the movie and most of the scenes, handheld camera was used to create shock and afraid motions. There are many more camera angles techniques like zoom, moving, shake, smooth and many more. Sound effects and musics will be really useful in every movies because it create the sound that basically explain the mood of the story. For example, when Katniss was selected and walked into the luxurious train, the soft music really helped us to understand the excitement and amaze from Katniss, since the train was the most luxurious thing she ever see. Colors provided a clear contrast of the scenes. The contrast of colors in this movie is very effective, such as when Effie was wearing all purple when all of the District 12 wear grey so this shows the power of the Capitol since purple represents power. The use of these techniques help to create emotions and feelings in the film, that will interest people to watch the film. Without these techniques, the emotions and feelings will become less effective and the movie will be very boring with hard consideration to understand the scenes.
