Hunger Games Techniques
The Hunger Games uses different film techniques such as, camera angles, sound effects, color, and music to create mood, emotion and meaning into the scene. Camera angles can show mood and emotion because camera angles can tell what going to happen or what happening. Music shows more emotion and mood than the camera movement because without music, the whole movie would be plain and when the sad part of the movie comes, the audience doesn’t feel that sad. Sound effects applies a little bit to the film because if the movie they are not fighting for real, they are just pretending and without the punch, kick, shoot effect then it will make the audience feel that they are playing not fighting. For me, my opinion is that color is the most and biggest part that contributes to mood and emotion because, you can see that is the background have dark color, the audience can feel and sense that something bad is going to happen. Color can also show power such as purple, like what is effie wearing. Purple is the color and symbol that show power during the Greek and Roman empire. In conclusion, if the movie doesn’t have all the techniques the movie wouldn’t be that fun than it used to be.
