Paragraph Response: Katniss vs Tris

  The characters, Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games and Beatrice Prior from Divergent are both similar in many ways but also have some differences in their personalities, however I believe that Katniss is a stronger competitor. One of the unique traits those 2 character have is Bravery, Beatrice had prove her bravery by jumping down a building to an unknown, but on the other hand Katniss had volunteered as a tribute to play in a horrifying game show called "The Hunger Games" which was set up by the capitol. Katniss and beatrice lives in a community just like the Absolute Monarch during the Enlightenment period. The community that Katniss Everdeen is living in is called, Seam. The Seam was located on the border of District 12 near the wild forests. It was extremely hard to find food in there, and many families lived in hunger and poverty. But for Beatrice she lives in the future in the city Chicago and people are divided into factions. Life for Beatrice haven’t been really bad she has food, a full family, and she never been in hunger and poverty. Beatrice and Katniss is described in the book as fierce, Beatrice knows how to fire a gun, and Katniss knows how to use the bow and arrow. Beatrice firing a gun is a wonderful talent,  For the fact that Katniss father passed away and her family depends on her, Katniss goes hunting daily to provide food for her mom and Prim. Her mom and Prim is the reason that Katniss is determined to come out of the games alive for her mom, and for Prim. There are many similarities in the 2 characters but I believe that Katniss is a stronger competitor based on her surviving abilities and the amount of effort she puts into taking care of her family.
