Why is personal identity important? What is the value of having differences?

Personal identity is what differentiates you from other people. There are many things that alter and affect your identity. For example, your physical appearance is what makes you different from others. Everyone is not identical. Even twins don’t have the exact same physical appearances, much less the same way of thinking.So that is why personal identity is important. Without any differences, Earth would just be full of clones who have the same behaviour, same thoughts and same looks. There would be no differences, no conflicting thoughts, no debating. There would only be a dull world where everything was identical. Personal identity is important because it:

1. Differentiates you because of your physical looks such as your facial features.
2. Differentiates you because of your behaviour, your logic, your reasoning, etc.
3. Prevents two people from being identical.
