It was around 1:00 PM in the afternoon when my mother and I decided to bake a cake. We took out all the ingredients and tools and lined them up so when we needed to use them we would be able to easily grab it. My mom then did as she always did she put in some flour and water into a bowl and stirred them to make dough, the sound a an eggshell crack surprised me out of my wonder "Mommy what are you doing?" I asked. "Well Hannah, I'm baking a cake want to help me?" I nodded vigorously I helped her stir the mixture and add the vanilla essence in. I remember that it was really fun. After a while when we finished preparing the mixture my mom asked me if I wanted to try some of course as expected I accepted and she took out the spatula which she used to stir the mixture out and gave it to me. I took my finger and smeared some of the dough onto my hand it felt cold and slimy after I took out my finger and tasted the dough, my face brightened up and my mom gave me a really beautiful smile "How does it taste like?" "It tasted really yummy! Mommy!". We then poured the mixture in to a mold and put it in the heated oven to bake. When the cake was done and my mom took it out the first thing that hit me was the smell. It smelled very good and it made me want to eat it, I remember asking my mom but she said no because we would have to share it. The cake was very delicious and my whole family had it for dessert that day.
Your memory about baking cake sounds very enjoyable and I like it. You have your five sensory details: hear, feel, taste, touch and see! Good job :D
