Memories: Golf Tournament - Tony

It was a Sunday morning. No, that's not true. It was THE Sunday morning. It was time for my golf tournament. As usual, just like in every competition, the 7 o'clock sky was a dark, cloudy sky with faint traces of blue etched everywhere. I breathed in deep and shuddered as the winter air stung my nose and hurt my lungs. The air was freezing, penetrating through the group of eager golfers, who were chattering and chortling all the while. Despite the cold, it was well-known that in a time of a few hours, everyone would be soaked in their sweat with the sun glowering down on the small course. After playing for so long, the initial fear and apprehension that I had felt on my first time at a golf course was now reduced to some slight nervousness. I had even made my own morning routine before every competition, so that I would have no fear or nervousness when I went to the tournament. Yet, I was still nervous. The taste of my drink still lasted in my mouth. I had checked to see who was in my group and despite not realizing it at that time, I was going to have to play my best to escape losing. I was playing with my friend Jett. He was a fairly good golfer. He could deliver accurate and powerful shots. Despite this, I knew that I had to try my best. The first tee came into sight. People wished me luck. I was to tee-off before Jett. I put on my glove, enjoying its solid feel. I grabbed my driver and after a few practice swings. I drove my ball into the middle of the fairway. Jett did the same minutes later. And then, we were off, each person eager for victory. It was time for a showdown.

Creamed Ice - Angie

"Angie!" My loving aunt called out, "It's ready! Come and get your ice cream!"

Lying on the soft, maroon duvet cover, I got up and walked to the granite kitchen counter. "Okay darling. Here's your ice cream." She used her ice cream spoon to pick up the frozen treat sitting on the metal bowl. She scooped one and gave it to me. It was now mine. I walked back to the brown leather sofa and opened my mouth, ready for the ice cream, which was half reddish-pink in colour, and half was cream-coloured and smelled like vanilla. I assumed it was vanilla. I ate the ice cream slowly, to get the taste of the two fresh homemade ice creams. Taking a bite, I can taste the sweet, soft smell of fresh vanilla picked from the garden. It melted in my mouth, and I can no longer focus on the TV show. It melted in my mouth, and the sweet, sugary, milky ice disappeared within the bite. I can taste the fresh cream on the spoon, skimmed with milk and sweet, sweet sugar. Anticipating, I then took a bite on the reddish-pink frozen ice. I didn't know what it was, but all I know is that the sweet taste of the ice cream was more than tempting. The sweet syrup, mixed well with the what was now - sorbet, melted on my tongue along with the sweet-and-sour red ice. Is this raspberry? It feels as if I can almost smell the raspberry, carefully mixed in with the vanilla and the syrup.

No, I did not devour a delicacy, nor an expensive treat, but my aunt's all-american homemade vanilla and raspberry ice cream sorbet.

My Experience in the Choir Camp Pou

Choir Camp huh? Ok Lets start from the beginning. Getting in the bus, I smelled the smells of chips, soda, and seasoning. It is a very long time until I get to smell these food and get to taste them in my mouth while playing around with my friends. The bus starts rumbling like a chainsaw and then we are off to our journey to the camp. While we were on the bus I saw cars rushing ahead of us and stoping at a red light. I can hear my friends laughing and playing games (Not computer games) all around. Then I decided to take a nap until we arrive at our destination. When we arrive at our destination, we walked down from the huge beast and we closed our eyes when we reached sunlight.
Finding our luggage and locating our rooms. After reaching our room, we dropped all our bags and belongings and dove into our beds. Nothing like a good nap we said. But that was not we were suppose to do, 5 mins later a teacher came knocking on our doors and telling us to go to the rehearsal room now. This was the first day and we arrived at 5:00 nearly 6:00, still we need to go practice singing. There was no rest for singers, everything needs to be perfect, our minds remembering our scripts, our neck containing our lovely sounds and most importantly our smiles to the audience and showing our awesome gesture to them. When we reach the rehearsal room, there were about 50 people waiting for us being late but never mind we started practicing anyway. Tired, hungry, thirsty, but we were nor allowed to stop. When we finish we got to go to the dining room and have a huge, yummy, breath taking, FEAST!!!!.

Memory that I have (Mue)

The best moment that I can remember in my life is when I got my Play Station 4 as my birthday present. I know its a very late present, my birthday is in June but I got it in December, but I do not really care as long as I liked it, which obviously I do, and many games that I liked are playable on it, which obviously it does. I am really happy that day, and immediately unboxed it the moment I arrived home. It was a lot nicer than my old and crappy Wii which I have it for almost 8 years. I was intrigued. It was exquisite in every way. And I still remember the very first game I played on it, and it is a very fun game that I played for so long time.

Pain on the road....... Emma

It was 5:30 in the afternoon, when the sun was setting beautifully in the horizon. I was on my bike, and i was 12 years old. I was racing home from the park with my sitter running behind. I was going to make a left turn when i hurt an engine running from the direction i was going. It was a bit dark so i couldn't really see it. I saw a pair of yellow bright lights looking staring at me like the golden eyes of an american eagle. It was glowing brighter and brighter and it got closer and closer, then it got louder.
Then before i knew it, i wasn't on my bike anymore. When i opened my eyes, above i stared at the pipes and the steam coming out of the engine of the vehicle. Beneath me , i felt the hard and rough road, with little bumps. I look to my right and saw my bike smashed on the ground beside me. Then i look to my left, and saw a red liquid flowing on the ground as i felt a painful sting in my left arm. Then i realised, i was under the white car, as i lay there with my eyes open staring above, in shock.
I didn't know what to do, then a second later, my sitter pulled me out from under the car. My school uniform was covered in red liquid i realised was blood. I look at the deep cut from my hand to my elbow on my left arm. and a huge bruise and a cut by my ribs. My sitter helped me limp back to the house as we explained to my horrid mother what had happened. I was forced to sit on the counter in the kitchen as my mother dabs a cotton swab soaked in liquid from the aid box on my deep wound. Tears ran down my face, one after another as pain ran through my whole body. And from that moment on, i was troubled from that day on, until now

Cyber Bully Memory

Black letters flashing across the screen, launching an attack of rumors and insults. I gasped for a breeze between my sobs. Tears from my moist eyes streamed down my cheeks. I wouldn't blame anyone, I've been a bully and being bullied. This is all past, and hasn't really affected who I am right now. When I was a kid, couples of years ago, I always find excuses to come to school. I hated this place, it's the place where I feel alone, left out, and bullied. I was new to this school, a group of people I don't even know, or I don't even bother to know, started looking at me like I'm someone who doesn't belong here. I would go home everyday sitting on my bed and crying until my eyes turned red. Everyday I tried to get along with people and tried to ignore people who would make fun and harass me. In the end, I found a friend who's willing to accept me even with my flaws, I learn to ignore what they say and stuff, I guess it made me stronger.

Baking a Cake with my Mom

It was around 1:00 PM in the afternoon when my mother and I decided to bake a cake.  We took out all the ingredients and tools and lined them up so when we needed to use them we would be able to easily grab it.  My mom then did as she always did she put in some flour and water into a bowl and stirred them to make dough, the sound a an eggshell crack surprised me out of my wonder "Mommy what are you doing?" I asked.  "Well Hannah, I'm baking a cake want to help me?"  I nodded vigorously  I helped her stir the mixture and add the vanilla essence in.  I remember that it was really fun.  After a while when we finished preparing the mixture my mom asked me if I wanted to try some of course as expected I accepted and she took out the spatula which she used to stir the mixture out and gave it to me.  I took my finger and smeared some of the dough onto my hand it felt cold and slimy after I took out my finger and tasted the dough, my face brightened up and my mom gave me a really beautiful smile "How does it taste like?"  "It tasted really yummy! Mommy!".  We then poured the mixture in to a mold and put it in the heated oven to bake.  When the cake was done and my mom took it out the first thing that hit me was the smell.  It smelled very good and it made me want to eat it, I remember asking my mom but she said no because we would have to share it.  The cake was very delicious and my whole family had it for dessert that day.

Sleep is for the weak-Harry

I think I had this memory of me sleeping late every day and come to school half awake.  I felt tired and my head felt like a heavy brick is tied to me dragging me down. I remember I was day dreaming and starring at the beautiful window while Mr. Robert is explaining about linear equations. When Mr. Robert called me out to solve the equation, I didn't know what to do so I just made a stoic face. My brain is empty like a jar without cookies, there's nothing in it. After I got home from the tiring day, I wish to quickly do my homework so I can get some nice relaxing sleep. I've done my homework at about 20:30 and I'll have plenty of time for sleep so tomorrow I'll be energetic and ready to learn. But something agitated me. The small device called "smart phone" will probably make me have fun before I sleep. It will take only about 30 minutes or so, that shouldn't be a problem. I had fun for 30 minutes so now its 21:00, maybe I should stop after this 3 minute video. Wait a second, that's the new Iggy song! And so I kept on playing without stop until I realize that I have less than 7 hours of sleep. As I lay on the bed I immediately fainted on the bed, and the soft pillow kissed me. The next morning I woke up and I still feel like crap. And let the sleepy cycle begin.

My spine-chilling Memory

I have this memory of me in a big mall surrounded by thousands people full of strangers. I was separated from my family because of this old man who needed help to cross the road. As I looked around to find family this crazy(mentally ill) women stole something from a shop and started laughing and screaming. I was there as hearing this female shouting spell live backward continuously as the guards took her down the escalator. The freshly baked muffins tingled my senses away as the loud drums bursted loudly creating noises that hurted my ear . I fell to the floor feeling the cold floor right next to my head. People surrounded as I cried. In one of those people was my mom who picked me up and ...

I actually don't know what happened after that it was wierd

The pain that I remembered Louis

After picking up the table tennis ball, I stand quietly and noticed the pain that rushed into my head. Suddenly, I realize that my head just crack with the fire extinguisher box. Pain slowly to reveal itself but I didn't notice until I can feel the taste of blood coming out of the crack. I panicked, blood started to flow onto my rough forehead. People started to inform me about the blood slowly pour itself onto my face bit by bit. The smell of the blood clearly flew into my nose so I quickly walk to the clinic. The pain on my head started to become clearer and clearer because I can feel the pain in the head, where I feel so dizzy and hurt. I did also see the stream of blood that slipped down and touched my forehead. Few minutes later the crack finally clearly reveal the pain to me and I felt like the whole land is being put on my head. The nurse told me to recover it by using ice so that the blood will slowly cooled down itself but blood still continue to percolate through my hair and glide continuously onto my face. The pain didn't stop and I felt like being tortured so the nurse called the ambulance. Few minutes passed by, the ambulance came and rushed me to the hospital. I can hear the sound of siren that struck into my ear drums and the pattern of the sound clearly stuck in my mind. When I reached the doctor, I felt like the whole entire land that's on my head just dropped onto the ground. The pain is being alleviated.

Jetts Memories- Golf Tournament

A Sunday morning started and I was ready to start a game of golf. The air was cold. And my body was shaking when the wind blew me away when I was practicing my golf swing. I was hitting the ball solid and straight. When I touched my grip of a nine iron and the taste of the water that I was drinking when I get nervous. The sky was a blueish color of the morning rise. The sun wasn't up. I could hear the the chickens calling for the people to wake up every morning. When I finished my golfing routine, I drove with my dad to the golf course ready for a good tournament. He said to have fun and do your best when I'm out with my group and the only person I could rely on was Tony. We played tournaments together when we were little and this day was when I get to play with him.

When it was our groups turn to hit the ball. My hands were shaking. I went last in my group. Tony hit a straight drive onto the middle of the fairway. When it was my turn, I place the ball onto the tee and started my routine. When I was about to hit the ball my hands were shaking. I could feel my heart beating louder and louder each second. I finally hot the ball. It went father then Tony's ball just a yard further onto the fairway. My dad wished me luck and we were on our way to win the tournament.

The Exquisite Honey Toast

It was a Friday night waiting in line at a desert cafe called After you. The smell of honey, sugar and icing filled the air. I was waiting impatiently as the line grew shorter, my excitement got stronger. I looked around, watching the big buttery sugared bread and as the person releasing honey onto it. The sound of munching and satisfaction, finally it was my turn. I was drooling at the table thinking, looking and smelling what was about to come. I took the first bite and felt the crispy buttery honeyry bread along with a spoon of ice cream. It was heaven. I finished the gigantic piece of toast and didn't feel like eating it anymore tonight but I never regretted to have devoured that exquisite toast.

School day - Kwan

It was a usual day in school; the bell rang ringing my eardrums as everyone thundered through the exit doorway. The smell of friendship oozed from the usual table in the canteen. I went over to sit hearing a whole lot of chatter from the other tables in the canteen giving off a similar feel of the tweeting of birds under the canopy. Then, I sense the smell of home made bread from one of the friends in the group. She handed one to me; I thanked her and bit into the fresh bread filled with a feeling of care, the taste of red bean and- what? Something white was in the filling too soft and sweet: white chocolate. The bread filled my heart with gentle sweetness and love as I got ready for my next class, pumped up with energy.

The memory of victory in badminton (Teetat)

On Saturday it was the day for RIS and me. We had a badminton tournament. Each school battle fiercely to go to the semi finals, finals, then champions. Each school fight with all their might to win this battle. They push the gear forward and never push it back, they fight and fight until the match ends. Every school fight with dignity and fairness, not a single person cheated. When it times for the semi final, every school push even harder to get to the top for the best badminton players. After the finals are finish we shake hand and enjoy the wonderful tournament. The result were fantastic, because RIS got gold medals. We also cheer the school who didn't get medals, and made friend. This memory is the best for me, and it made me learn something, which is that sport make friends, and sport make sportsmanship. It was fun and totally worth for remembering it for my whole entire life.....

Dew's Memory

I remembered when I was eight years old, I went to HuaHin with my family, it was my first time but not for other people. I was so happy that I couldn't wait to reach the place, I think to myself that if I got there it must be afternoon already because already the sun had started it's rotation and was covered by an enormous fluffy cloud. As we reach the place, I was so excited and I could see all the sea curling around with no endings. At that moment the sea was really fresh and clear that I can see through the water and see the colorful tiny fishes winkling its' tail up and down. I quickly tell my driver to stop the car and drop me near the shore first. As I jumped off the car taking a deep breath, the smell of salty crooking pieces of sand went into my nose. Arr choo! My nose hurts. Then I take off the shoes and went deeper to touch the cool glistering water. As I remembered when I closely stepped my toes closer to feel the water I could hear the cracking of sharp crystal beneath my toes. I peaked down and see a minimize giraffe facing downward. Actually it was a giraffe's patterned shell. I was surprised and by the time the sun lower it's power and flashy disappeared.
