The Dancing Sunflower (Emma)

The Dancing Sunflower

One fine spring morning came , as the sun shone down towards the meadow. One little sunflower, blooming towards the soft light rays of the beautiful morning sun. Its petals, opening and showing a shiny yellow as bright as the sun shining through the window of your back garden at 7 am in the morning. Its stem as green as a baby leaf falling from a tree. The Sunflower enjoyed the powerful rays of the sun, as it dances to the sounds of the wind singing as it blows from the north. Then a little humming bird came and sat on a branch of a tree next to the meadow, it started whistling. The sunflower danced and danced as if it was the 4th of July. Suddenly, little drops of rain fell from the bright warmed-coloured sky. The rain fell on to the petals of the beautiful baby flower, the sunflower feels refreshed and full of energy as it receives the nutrients it needs. Then formed a rainbow in the beautiful morning sky with luscious colours of its kind.  The rain stopped and the sun shone once again, as beautiful as ever. In the sky the birds are fluttering their wings, flying to their nests to give food to their young as the sunflower watched the happiness of nature. The sky was a sweet tint of rose and  the clouds with a tint of an Aquamarine blue as little tiny drops of water still fell from the wet leaves in the green peach tree. The sunflower was grateful for nature's kindness and having the opportunity of feeling free. The sunflower was as happy and delighted as ever, and that was the story of " The Dancing Sunflower".
