Golf Tournaments
The first time went you step onto the tee box went it's your turn to hit, your heart pounding hard as hard as the bass from the drums kick loud in between your lungs, and your legs shivering and your sweating that this ball will count when you hit it. The ball could go any where In the water, out of bounds or even in the woods. All you knows is to get the dam ball onto the fairway and into the hole.
The three holes you played will be pressuring, if you get three birdies in a row? You know what, Good for you. Just don't gloat about it with other players in your group. If you get a double bogey, then it would be hard to alleviate the situation. As you past the first three or four holes you will find you that your heart has come to beating normally for the rest until you have finished playing.
As you walk down the rough or fairway, don't forget to look around you with exquisite surrounding. Mountains, oceans, sky, etc. You will feel better if you are having a bad day. Everyone has bad days when playing golf. Even me. It's not the end of the world if you get a bad score at the end of the day but all you need to think about is getting the dam ball into the tiny tiny tiny hole.
"What is your score now huh Will?" asked Reed "Is it like plus 19 or 20 yet? Haha"
"No, I checked with my caddy just now and she said that my score is only about plus 6 at 9 holes." I said. He wasn't so happy about that, because he knew that he needed to step up his game, because he was already plus 9.
Will, Reed, Max and Aaron were playing in a group of four at 7 am and have played for nine holes. What would come next...?

ReplyDeleteNice Work Jett. Some grammatical errors were in the writing and a use of small swear word. Next time be careful of what to write. Nice spread use of the vocabulary words. If I did not play golf I would understand about it pretty much. Yeah, keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteNice job on describing your tournaments
